Styling Tips for Photo Day!
Rule # 1 - Be YOU!
I want you to look and feel your best, so here are a few tips to help you prepare for your photo session:
Choose outfits you love – Stick to what makes you feel comfortable and confident! Classic colors like neutrals, soft pastels, or earth tones often work well. Avoid busy patterns or logos that can distract from your beautiful face.
Think layers and textures – A jacket, scarf, or textured fabric can add dimension to your look, but make sure you can move easily!
Keep accessories simple – Small jewelry pieces or a fun hat can add personality without overwhelming your outfit.
For families – Coordinate your outfits without matching exactly. Think of a color palette and go with shades that complement each other.
Above all, be yourself! Your comfort and style will shine through in the photos. If you're ever unsure, don’t hesitate to ask for advice—I’m happy to help!
Fall
Rich, warm tones like deep oranges, browns, mustard yellows, and burgundies are perfect for fall. Layering with scarves, cardigans, or jackets can add dimension and warmth.
Winter
Cozy textures like wool, chunky sweaters, and layered looks work great for winter sessions. Neutral tones with pops of color (like deep reds, greens, or blues) add contrast without being too bold.
Spring & Summer
Light fabrics, dresses, and pastel or vibrant colors work wonderfully for warmer weather. Think airy fabrics like cotton, linen, or soft knits.
